Interview process
The overall process was rigorous and comprehensive, more challenging than many interviews I have done with other large technology companies. However, the recruiter’s guidance was accurate and genuinely helpful, which I really appreciated. The interviewers were professional and respectful, and I felt the process was designed to evaluate both technical depth and practical problem-solving ability.
What went well was that the process gave me opportunities to discuss my experience, research background, and approach to problem solving. What did not go as well was that a few questions caught me off guard, especially where I needed to connect fundamentals, implementation details, and communication under time pressure. Even though I was not able to answer every question as well as I wanted, the experience helped me understand which areas I should strengthen further.

Coding- Q1. Tips from the candidate
I would tell a friend to prepare beyond standard interview questions. They should be ready to explain their past projects in depth, including the motivation, assumptions, trade-offs, limitations, and how they validated their work. They should also review core fundamentals and be prepared to apply them in practical situations, not just define concepts.
I would also recommend practicing how to think out loud clearly. Some questions may not have an immediately obvious answer, so it is important to communicate the reasoning process, ask clarifying questions, and stay structured under pressure. In addition, I would prepare for follow-up questions that go several layers deeper than the initial answer.
Company culture
What stood out to me was the high standard of the team. The interviewers seemed technically strong, detail-oriented, and focused on understanding how I think rather than just checking whether I had memorized answers. I also appreciated that the conversations were respectful and professional, even when the questions were challenging.
I did not notice any major red flags. The overall culture felt rigorous, practical, and intellectually serious. My impression was that the team values strong fundamentals, clear communication, ownership, and the ability to improve from feedback.
