The engineer was good, worked with you to solve the problem. I confused between LRU and LFU which I think was the major problem.

Tips from the candidate

Know all kinds of cache, LRU, LFU time based and edge cases. The implementation did not need a working code you could add comments or functions dummy but the thought process should be clear.
