Tips from the candidate
I’d suggest focusing on strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, system design, and being able to clearly explain your past projects and technical decisions. For system design, be comfortable discussing scalability, APIs, databases, caching, messaging, and trade-offs. I’d also recommend practicing thinking out loud and communicating your approach clearly, as the interviewers seemed interested in the reasoning behind the solution, not just the final answer.

What stood out to me was the team’s emphasis on technical depth and thoughtful problem-solving. The interviewers were approachable and encouraged open discussion, which made the conversations feel collaborative rather than purely evaluative. I also got the impression that the team values ownership, strong engineering fundamentals, and the ability to think through trade-offs carefully.
