BCG Gamma Product Manager Interview Experience
BCG Gamma · Mid level
Interview process
The interview process was structured but still felt conversational. There was a strong focus on my background, relevant product and B2B experience, and how I approach ambiguous business problems. The main challenge was that some of the questions required you to structure your thinking quickly and balance strategic, product, and business considerations at the same time.

Tips from the candidate
I would prepare several strong examples from your past experience and be ready to explain not just what you did, but why you made certain decisions and what business impact resulted. I would also practice structuring ambiguous business and product problems out loud, including market sizing or basic case math. For a B2B-focused role, it helps to understand enterprise customers, sales motions, stakeholder management, and how you would evaluate the business value of a product or technology investment.
Company culture
What stood out was the combination of consulting-style problem solving with a strong technology and product focus. The conversation felt thoughtful and collaborative rather than overly rigid, and I got the impression that the team values people who can work across business, product, and technology. There also seemed to be an emphasis on being comfortable with ambiguity and communicating clearly with different types of stakeholders.
