BCG Gamma Software Engineer Interview Experience
BCG Gamma · Entry level
Interview process
What did not go as well was that the interview covered a very broad range of technologies. Although I have a good overall understanding across these areas, there were some topics where I would have liked to provide deeper technical detail, especially when switching quickly between domains

Tips from the candidate
For a BCG technical interview covering system administration, DevOps, backend, AI, and frontend, prepare as a broad, practical full-stack engineer. They will likely care less about obscure framework details and more about whether you can solve business problems, communicate clearly, and make sensible technical tradeoffs.
Company culture
What stood out to me was the combination of high standards, collaboration, and a practical focus on solving client problems. The interview process suggested a team culture where people are expected to be technically capable, but also able to communicate clearly, work across different specialties, and connect technical decisions to business impact.
